White and red 4 -ply worsted wt yarn G/6-4.25mm hook 1 gold pin backing small amt of black #10 thread 3 black seed beads hot glue and glue gun Gauge: Not important to over all size. Finished Size: Stitches: sc, dc, sc dec |
Using white
Ch 3, join to form a ring.
Rnd 1) ch 3, dc in ring 11 times, join in ch 3: 12 dc.
end weaving in all ends.
Row 2) Join red in any stitch, ch 2, sc in same st, 2 sc in next 3 stitches, turn: 8 sc.
Row 3) ch 2, sc dec, sc in next 4 stitches, sc dec in last stitches: 6 sc.
Row 4) ch 2, sc dec, sc in next 2 stitches, sc dec in last stitches: 4 sc.
Row 5) Ch 2, sc dec twice: 2 sc.
Row 6) ch 2, sc dec in 2 stitches: 1 sc.
End weaving in all ends.
Pom-pom
Holding red and white yarn together wrap around finger about 6 times. cut, take another piece of yarn and tie in center of wrapped yarn, cutting other side of yarn. pompom made
take pompom and attach to top of hat using a piece of yarn to tie in place.
Hot glue eyes, nose to face. take thread and glue to make a mouth. add pin to back.
