Materials:

Red, white, blue 4 - ply worsted weight yarn

F - hook,

band

 

Bullion Stitch: This stitch consists of a coil of wraps around the hook, through which the thread is drawn.
Wind thread around the hook smoothly 6 times (or as many times as called for in your directions); insert hook in work, wrap thread over hook and draw a loop through, wrap over hook again and draw carefully through the coil of all the loops on the hook, (you may find it necessary to pick the loops off the hook with your fingers, one at a time), wrap thread over hook again and draw through the remaining stitch.

 

Rnd 1) using red join in band, sc around band to fully cover it, join in first sc. end red weaving in ends.

attach white to any sc stitch.

Rnd 2) Bullion stitch in first sc, ch 1, * Bullion stitch in next sc, ch 1; repeat from * around joining in first Bullion stitch. end white, weaving in all ends.

Attach Blue in any ch 1 space.

Rnd 3) Ch 6, sc in next ch 1 space; * ch 6, sc in next ch 1 space; repeat from * around joining in first ch 6.

end weaving in all ends.
