Materials: 8 & G hook, white and red cotton yarn, green thread
Finished Size:
Gauge: Not important to over all size.
stitches used: sc, hdc, dc,
x-stitch skip first st, dc in next stitch, dc in first st: x - stitch made.
Soapsaver start:
Ch 14; turn
sc in second ch from hook, *sc in next st, repeat for 12 sc, 3 sc in the last ch, ( on the other side) sc in the next 11 ch's, 2 sc in first sc, join.
Rnd 1: ch 2 ( using back loops only this rnd) hdc in first sc, * hdc in next sc; repeat from * around, joining in ch 2.
Rnd 2: Ch 3, doing x- stitch aound: joining is ch 3.
Rnd 3: ch 3, Hdc in first dc, * hdc in next dc; repeat from around.
Rnd 4: Repeat row 2
Rnd 5: Repeat row 3
Rnd 6: Repeat row 2
Rnd 7: Repeat row 3
Rnd 8: Repeat row 2
Rnd 9: Repeat row 3
Rnd 10: Repeat row 2
Rnd 11: Repeat row 3
Rnd 12: Ch 3, skip first hdc, * dc in next hdc, ch 2; repeat from * around, joining in ch 3.
End weaving in end's
Edging:
With red join in any ch 2 space, Ch 3, dc 4 times' in same space, * slst in dc st, 5 dc in next ch space, repeat from * around, joining in first ch 3; ending and weaving in all end's.
Tree pattern to add to soapsaver ( sew tree on soapsaver)
starting with green:
ch 18
Row 1: Hdc in second ch from hook; Hdc in ea ch across: 17 hdc
Row 2: Ch 1, dec 1 hdc in the first st, hdc in the next 13 hdc, dec in last
2 hdc. 15 hdc
Repeat Row's 1 and 2 until you have three sts left join all three st's together,
end off, weaving in all end's
Trunk:
Row 1: starting were you first started skip first 8 hdc join green to the
9th st, hdc in starting st, hdc in next st, ch 1, turn.
Row 2: hdc in those two stitch's
Row 3: repeat row 2
End off weaving in end's.
